52 patients scheduled for unicompartmental knee arthroplasty were randomized to postoperative rehabilitation through either a formal outpatient physical therapy program or unsupervised, web-based exercise therapy at home. Intervention in both groups lasted 6 weeks. After 6 weeks, no significant differences between groups were observed for improvement in either knee range of motion or patient-reported functional scores.
