Telerehabilitation demonstrates similar outcome to usual care following subacromial decompression

18 patients with subacromial impingement syndrome and who had undergone arthroscopic subacromial decompression were randomized to either a 12-week telerehabilitation programme or to a 12-week programme of usual physical therapy sessions and a home exercise programme. Patients were assessed for functional outcome on the Constant-Murley score after 4, 8, and 12 weeks. Results demonstrated no significant differences between groups in the Constant-Murley score at either 4 weeks, 8 weeks, or 12 weeks.
