75 patient scheduled for arthroscopic repair of a supraspinatus tear were randomized to repair with or without augmentation with platelet-rich plasma. The current study sought to compare clinical scores and healing on MRI at 60-month follow-up. Results demonstrated no significant differences between groups at 60-months in either UCLA score, Constant score, pain on a visual analog scale, or tendon healing on MRI according to the Sugaya classification.
