AAOS2019: Online PT demonstrates no difference in knee function to outpatient PT post-meniscectomy
127 patients scheduled for arthroscopic partial meniscectomy were randomized to online or outpatient physical therapy. Patients were assessed for outcome on the International Knee Documentation Committee score, the Lysholm score, the Modified Cincinnati Rating System score, and VR-12 scores after 1 week, 6 weeks, and 6 months postoperatively. Results demonstrated no statistically significant differences between groups in any outcome at any time point.
