COA/ICORS2019: Assessment of tunnel enlargement with PLLA interference screw with and without TCP

80 patients scheduled for anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction were randomized to tibial fixation with either a poly-L-lactic acid plus tricalcium phosphate interference screw or a poly-L-lactic acid interference screw. Patients were assessed on anteroposterior and lateral radiographs for tunnel width postoperatively. Results demonstrated no significant differences between groups in tunnel width at the entry of the tibial tunnel, the exit of the tibial tunnel, or at the widest point within the tibial tunnel over 12-month follow-up.
