Fourteen studies (12 RCTs, 2 non-RCTs) were included in this systematic review and meta-analysis examining the effect of augmented feedback training during jump landing training on bio-mechanical parameters associated with anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) injury. Data was analyzed at two different time-points: immediately post-test and delayed post-test (at least 24 hours after last training session). Results revealed significantly favourable improvements in peak knee and hip flexion angle and peak vertical ground reaction force in the augmented feedback group compared to the control group. The significant improvement in peak knee flexion angle and peak vertical ground reaction force was sustained in the delayed post-test meta-analyses. No significant differences were observed in all other bio-mechanical parameters.
