Cost-effectiveness of intra-articular injections for the treatment of knee osteoarthritis

An single-payer economic analysis was conducted comparing 5 brands of hyaluronic acid for the treatment of knee osteoarthritis. The study evaluated the cost-effectiveness of these products compared to baseline, compared to conventional care, and compared to one another. The study found Euflexxa to be a cost-effective treatment in all of these comparisons.
