Symptomatic improvement with plasma disc decompression in cervical disc herniation
Eur Spine J. 2010 Mar;19(3):477-86. Epub 2009 Nov 10115 patients with neck/arm pain and had failed conservative care for at least 30 days were randomized to be managed with either plasma disc decompression or continued conservative care. At 1 year, the improvement in visual analopg scale (VAS), Neck Disability Index (NDI), and SF-36 in patients undergoing plasma disc decompression were superior to those receiving CC for contained cervical disc herniation.
