Music-based multi-task training for older adults

134 elderly individuals were randomized to receive a 6 month music-based multitask exercise program or a delayed intervention control to assess whether the exercise program reduced the risk of falls in elderly individuals. The results from this trial indicate that participants in the exercise program had fewer falls than the control group after 6 months, with the control group showing similar changes after they received the exercise program.
