200 ankle replacements (100 Scandinavian Total Ankle Replacement [STAR] and 100 Buechel-Pappas ankle replacement [BP]) were performed and monitored for a minimum of 36 months. Varus or valgus deformity was also shown to significantly affect survivorship of the replacement.
