Prevent Injury and Enhance Performance (PEP) program reduces non-contact ACL injuries
Am J Sports Med. 2008 Aug;36(8):1476-8375 NCAA Division I Women's Soccer teams (n=1435) were randomized to either the intervention group, which performed an alternative warm-up program (Prevent Injury and Enhance Performance program), or to a control group that continued with their typical customary warm-up. The results indicated that the PEP program was effective in the prevention of ACL injuries, most importantly non-contact ACL injuries.
