Osteoarthritis Cartilage. 2009 Feb;17(2):144-51. Epub 2008 Aug 8This meta-analysis included 15 studies (5 RCTs and 10 prospective non-RCTs) that compared selenium supplementation to either a placebo or no treatment, in the prevention of Kashin-Beck Disease (KBD). A total of 2216 participants were identified from these studies.
