Acrobot robotic system improves prosthesis positioning in the coronal plane in UKA
J Bone Joint Surg Br. 2006 Feb;88(2):188-97

27 patients (28 knees) undergoing unicompartmental knee arthroplasty (UKA) were randomised to undergo treatment with assistance from the Acrobot system or conventional surgery. The primary outcome was the examination of the tibiofemoral alignment angle in the coronal plane. Results indicated that the use of the Acrobot robotic system improves the accuracy and positioning of the implant in the coronal plane.
