No significant difference in wound healing with fondaparinux after total knee arthroplasty
Knee. 2006 Mar;13(2):118-21. Epub 2006 Jan 4109 patients undergoing total knee arthroplasty or a revision of a previous knee arthroplasty were randomized to undergo thromboprophylaxis with fondaparinux or enoxaparin. The primary outcome was wound discharge and the results indicated that fondaparinux did not produce any significant differences in wound healing when compared to enoxaparin.
