Spine J. 2006 Mar-Apr;6(2):185-9. Epub 2006 Jan 2748 patients who underwent spinal surgery were evaluated in either standing and prone on the Andrews operating table or standing and prone on the Jackson operating table. The primary outcome was imaging (comparing the preoperative and intraoperative plain lateral lumbar radiographs for alignment of the iliac crest with the L4/L4-L5 spine).
