High-grade mobilization improves disability and ROM for adhesive capsulitis (shoulder)

100 patients undergoing treatment for unilateral adhesive capsulitis of the shoulder were randomised to receive treatment using either a low-grade mobilization technique (LGMT) or high-grade mobilization technique (HGMT). The primary outcomes were range of motion at the shoulder and disbaility. Results indicated that the HGMT group showed better (albeit small) improvements in the outcomes examined compared to the LGMT group. However, both groups showed improvements during the course of the study.
