Proprioceptive training and craniocervical flexion training are effective in improving JPE
J Orthop Res. 2007 Mar;25(3):404-12

64 female participants with chronic neck pain were randomized to either receive a conventional proprioceptive training or a craniocervical flexion training program to compare efficacy in in improving proprioceptive acuity. The results observed following the interventions indicated that an improvement in joint position error was seen in both the proprioceptive training group and those participating in the craniocervical flexion training program. In addition, reported pain and disability were decreased in both groups.
