3792 soldiers were cluster randomized to receive either no educational program or a psychosocial educational program, PSEP, designed to improve low back pain beliefs. This study assessed the use of PSEP to improve LBP beliefs, which have been associated with its occurrence and ability to recover. The results from this study indicated that the PSEP program was able to improve the beliefs in soldiers at 12 weeks, whereas no education resulted in a decrease in LBP beliefs.
