45 articles (26,576 primary total hip arthroplasties) were selected in this meta-analysis to study the survivorship and revision rates of cemented acetabular components versus cementless acetabular components, in a minimum of 10 years of follow up. Although the results did not indicate any differences in survivorship rates between the two components, the regression analysis of estimated odds ratio for survivorship was more reliable in cemented components after the first decade.
