60 patients were randomized to examine whether cruciate-substituting (PS) and cruciate-retaining (CS) total knee arthroplasty (TKA) led to different knee kinematics. Patients received either one of the two procedures and were assessed preoperatively and at 6 months using computer navigation. The results indicated that there were no significant differences in navigation-based knee kinematics between CR and PS implants.
