Efficacy of trunk balance exercises for individuals with chronic low back pain
J Orthop Sports Phys Ther. 2011 Aug;41(8):542-5279 patients with chronic lower back pain (CLBP) were randomized to receive treatment based upon either trunk balance exercises (experimental) or strengthening exercises (control). Both groups also underwent alongside standard trunk flexibility exercises. The results from 6 week follow-up indicated that individuals who underwent trunk exercises displayed significantly better disability, quality of life, and pain scores in comparison to control.
