Long’s manipulation in the treatment of mechanical neck pain

63 patients with chronic, mechanical neck pain participated in this study. Patients were randomized into one of two treatment groups, either Traditional Chinese Massage (TCM) or Long's Manipulation (LM) modified approach to TCM. Comparisons were made based on disability, pain, cervical range of motion (CROM) and craniovertebral (CV) angle. The results indicated Long's Manipulation retained better success in relieving disability and pain 3 months after treatment.
