60 patients with partial thickness rotator cuff tears (PTRCTs) were randomized in two groups to determine the superior treatment between trans-tendon repair and conversion to full thickness followed by traditional repair (subacrominal). The study demonstrated that both treatments are comparably safe and effective measures in the treatment of PTRCTs.
