90 postmenopausal women with osteoporosis and low back pain were randomly assigned to either a treatment group or a control group. Patients in the treatment group participated in a group physical rehabilitation program, while patients in the control group received an instructional booklet and were directed to perform the exercises independently. Findings demonstrated that women in the treatment group experienced significantly improved pain, functional, and disability outcomes than the patients in the control group at 6 months follow-up.
