J Bone Joint Surg Am. 2007 Dec;89(12):2591-8This meta-analysis identified 4 randomized controlled trials that compared anterior ulnar nerve transposition (two submuscular and two subcutaneous) to single decompression for the treatment of patients with cubital tunnel syndrome. A total of 335 patients (Mean age: 51; 65% male) were identified and the primary outcomes were motor nerve-conduction velocities and clinical outcome scores. Results from the analysis indicated that no significant difference in outcomes were seen between both interventions and simple decompression.
