Cross-body stretch improves internal rotation in posterior shoulder tightness
J Orthop Sports Phys Ther. 2007 Mar;37(3):108-1454 subjects with some degree of shoulder internal rotation range of motion (ROM) asymmetry were randomized to one of two treatment groups (sleeper stretch or cross-body stretch exercises) for a 4 week duration, or to the control group that performed no stretching exercises. This study aimed to compare range of motion between the aforementioned interventions. The results showed that in comparison to the control group, those patients who participated in the cross-stretch exercise had improved internal shoulder rotation ROM.
