Similar clinical results for arthroscopic and mini-open rotator cuff repair
Arthroscopy. 2015 Jan;31(1):118-24.Five randomized controlled trials, with a total of 329 patients, were analyzed in this meta-analysis for the purpose of comparing mini-open and arthroscopic rotator cuff repair. Outcomes that were assessed included surgery time, functional outcome score, VAS pain, and range of motion. None of these outcomes were found to be significantly different between groups who underwent arthroscopic repair and groups who underwent mini-open repair.
