J Am Med Dir Assoc. 2015 Apr 1;16(4):350.e1-7

81 patients undergoing rehabilitation for a hip fracture were randomized to receive either standard care with a multicomponent home-based rehabilitation program (ProMo) or a control group receiving solely standard care. The purpose of this study was to assess and compare physical disability in patients receiving a home-based rehabilitation program in addition to standard care in discharged patients with hip fractures, and patients in a solely standard care program of written home exercises. The findings indicated no significant differences between groups for any of the measured outcomes.
