Similar QOL with12 month exercise program vs usual care after rotator cuff repair
Clin Rehabil. 2015 May;29(5):447-56.67 patients who underwent a rotator cuff repair were randomized to undergo a 12-month training program postoperatively, or to receive the usual care provided to such patients. The study was conducted in the effort to assess whether the intervention had an effect on disability and quality of life when assessed at program completion. No differences were found between the groups in any of the measured outcomes. However, low compliance to the treatment protocol may have compromised the conclusions drawn in this trial.
