Ann Intern Med. 2007 Nov 20;147(10):685-92

360 home care workers with self-reported history of low back pain (LBP) were randomized to receive one of two interventions. The first group received a refresher course on healthy working methods combined with a self-administered lumbar support, while the second group only received the refresher course. Results indicated that the number of days of back pain decreased with combined intervention of lumbar support and refresher course. Overall work absenteeism did not significantly differ between the groups.
