The effect of PSCB on hip-knee-ankle angle compared to manual instrumentation in TKA
Int Orthop. 2015 Aug;39(8):1541-5215 studies comparing patient-specific cutting block (PSCB) to manual instrumentation (MI) in total knee arthroplasty were included in this meta-analysis. The analysis included 918 TKA in the PSCB group and 998 cases in the MI group. The purpose of this study was to determine whether the use of PSCB improves hip-knee-ankle (HKA) alignment compared to manual instrumentation. The results indicated that there was no significant difference between groups in terms of the outliers of HKA angle.
