Comparing two methods of graft tensioning in medial patellofemoral ligament reconstruction
Knee. 2016 Oct;23(5):826-953 patients scheduled for medial patellofemoral ligament reconstruction were randomized to a self-balancing technique for graft tensioning, or to graft tensioning under a direct arthroscopic view. Patients were assessed over a 2-year follow-up for patellar stability on clinical examination and patient-reported functional measures. The results of this trial demonstrated no significant differences between groups in any outcome measure after 2 years.
