COA2017: No difference in long-term outcome after thoracolumbar burst fracture with vs without TLSO
36 patients who had previously been randomized in a trial comparing the use of a thoracolumbosacral orthosis to the absence of a thoracolumbosacral orthosis in management of a thoracolumbar burst fracture were evaluated at 5- to 10-year follow-up. Patients were assessed primarily for outcome on the Roland-Morris Disability Questionnaire. Results demonstrated no significant difference between groups in RMDQ scores at 5- to 10-year follow-up.
