ISAKOS2017: Flexion and internal rotation strength not reduced with hamstring autograft v. allograft
50 patients scheduled for anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction were randomized to have surgery completed with either the use of a hamstring tendon autograft or an allograft. Patients were assessed at 6 months for knee flexion strength, internal rotation strength, and patient reported function. Results demonstrated no significant differences between groups for any outcome measure.
