416 patients scheduled for total knee arthroplasty were randomized to patient education through either an electronic learning (eLearning), online resource or usual care with a book. Primary outcomes included the rate of patient expectations met and the rate of patient satisfaction after 1 year. Results demonstrated no significant differences between groups in either of the primary outcome measures.
