ISAKOS 2015: No benefit to acromioplasty, coracoacromial ligament release in RC repair
15 studies, with 1375 participants, were selected to determine if coracoacromial liagment release or partial acromioplasty had any significant advantage when performing rotator cuff repair. Four of these studies were selected for meta-analysis. Results found that nether treatment method provided any advantage in pain or functional scores in patients undergoing rotator cuff repair.
