4 RCTs were included in this meta-analysis and systematic review for the purpose of comparing effects on quadriceps muscle strength after exercise therapy with and without whole-body vibration. Results demonstrated that the inclusion of whole body vibration did not significantly impact quadriceps muscle strength, as evidence by comparable results after 8-12 weeks of treatment.
