39 adults with neuropathic pain conditions received low-dose vaporized cannabis, medium-dose vaporized cannabis and placebo in a random order. The primary outcome was pain intensity and secondary outcomes included the patient impression of global change, a neuropathic pain scale, allodynia, heat-pain threshold, and mood. Low and moderate-dose vaporized cannabis reduced pain intensity and most adverse events were mild to moderate.
